The Security Innovation, Engineering and COE Lead/Technical Product Owner is a key role responsible for the strategic direction and advancement of the bank's security technology landscape. This role involves leading initiatives and guiding experts in designing, building, and enhancing the core security infrastructure that protects our assets, data, and customers.

You will be at the forefront of identifying, evaluating, and implementing next-generation security solutions. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in operating a Security Centre of Excellence (COE), providing expert guidance, reusable patterns, and shared services to empower teams across the bank to build and operate securely. In this role you’ll get to…

- Shape our security technology future by developing a strategic roadmap, exploring innovative technologies like AI and Zero Trust, and managing the innovation pipeline from concept to reality.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of our core enterprise security platforms, ensuring they are robust and scalable while embedding a secure-by-design approach into all development.
- Lead our Security Center of Excellence by setting best practices, providing expert advice on major projects, and building shared security services for the whole organization to use.
- Mentor and develop a team of security experts, manage key relationships with vendors and industry partners, and report on our security posture and innovation efforts to senior leadership.

What you’ll bring to the role

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Extensive experience in a senior security role, with a proven track record in security architecture, engineering, and innovation.
- Deep technical expertise across multiple security domains such as cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), identity and access management (IAM), network security, DevSecOps, and data protection.
