YourRole

TheVirginiaSupportBranchHeadisanSESBand1positionprovidingstrategicleadershipforthedevelopment,integrationanddeliveryofAustralia'ssovereignVirginia-classSubmarine(VCS)Supportsystem.TheroleisaccountableforensuringthatAustralia’sfuturesovereignsupportsystemcapabilityisunderpinnedbyfit-for-purposeinfrastructure,askilledandreadyworkforce,andamaturemaintenancesystemthatsupportsthelong-termoperationofNuclear-PoweredSubmarines.





ReportingtotheHeadVirginiaDivision(HVD),youwillleadthedesignandimplementationofAustralia'ssovereignVCSsupportsystemcapabilityandprovideenterpriseleadershipacrosssustainment,maintenanceplanningandexecution,integratedlogisticssupport,waterfrontoperations,industrialcapabilitydevelopmentandsustainmenttransitionactivities.TherolewillworkcloselywithDefence,Navy,ASC,aligneddefenceindustry,AustralianGovernmentagenciesandAUKUSpartnerstoensureAustraliadevelopsanenduringandsovereignsupportsystemcapabilitycapableofultimatelytransitioningtoAustralian-ledsustainmentoperations.

As the senior support leader within Virginia Division, you will ensure the sustainment enterprise delivers against operational readiness requirements while supporting secure, secure and effective stewardship of Australia's nuclear-powered submarine capability.
