I'm looking for an AI Systems Engineer to join a greenfield team at IAG focused on exploring how AI can solve real business problems and improve insurance outcomes at scale.
This is not a traditional software engineering, data science or AI research role.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable working with business experts and technology teams. Someone who can uncover problems, challenge assumptions, rapidly prototype ideas, and help determine where agentic AI genuinely adds value.
As one of the early members of this greenfield capability, you'll help shape how we work while partnering closely with insurance SMEs, product leaders, architects and engineers to define, evaluate and scale AI solutions.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with business experts to understand complex operational challenges
- Prototype and evaluate agentic AI solutions
- Define AI behaviour, guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls
- Build evaluation approaches that ensure solutions are effective, secure and scalable
- Help shape a new AI capability from the ground up
