About the role

The Restoration Area Manager is responsible for the operational performance of the CRS restoration division across Greater Sydney area. This is a senior management role with accountability for multiple Restoration Supervisors and their teams. The Area Manager maintains a strong technical foundation while focusing on operational oversight, people leadership, client relationship management, and performance outcomes across the area. They are a key escalation point for complex technical and commercial decisions and represent CRS to key clients and industry contacts within their region.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of Restoration Supervisors across a defined geographic area
- Oversee job allocation, resource deployment, and personnel management across the area
- Review and approve Scopes of Work and quotes for significant, complex,



or high-value jobs
- Monitor job performance, KPIs, drying goal attainment, and quality outcomes across all teams in the area
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching and development of Restoration Supervisors
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical, client, commercial, and WHS issues within the area
- Conduct phone, video, or on-site assessments and provide high-level technical instruction to field teams
- Build and maintain qualified relationships with key insurers, assessors, loss adjusters, and suppliers within the area
- Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff across the area
- Report to the Restoration Manager on area performance, staffing, job pipeline, and operational matters

About you

- IICRC Certifications
- White Card
- Current driver's licence — held
- Minimum 3–5 years in restoration, including demonstrated supervisory and people management experience
- Strategic people leadership and performance management across multiple teams
- Advanced technical knowledge and credibility across all restoration streams
