An NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to join a dynamic mental health team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient, community, and crisis services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated doctor who is available to start immediately and has substantial experience working within UK mental health services.
Essential Requirements
- Valid GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
- Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working abilities
- Must be available to start ASAP
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate management plans
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Undertake Mental Health Act assessments where appropriate
- Provide advice and support to junior medical staff and allied healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with NHS standards
- Ensure safe and effective patient care at all times
