Corfield Downs Pastoral is currently seeking a driven and energetic Station Hand to join us for the Season.
n
This role would suit someone who is a team player, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
n
Please note we have filled our female accommodation, so we can only accept males.
n
Cattle Station/ Mixed Farming
n
Corfield Downs is a 60,000ha beef cattle property located in Central Western QLD 100km north of Winton.
n
Beginning
n
Always demonstrate commitment to secure working practises and animal welfare.
n
Water runs, trough cleaning, repairing leaking pipes and pumps
n
General property maintenance - basic mechanics, fencing
n
Operating machinery – skid steer, tractor
n
Adhere to the guidance of the station management staff.
n
Solid focus on safety and animal welfare.
n
Able to ride a bike.
n
Motivated and hard-working.
n
Willingness to be part of a small versatile team.




n
Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment.
n
Possess sufficient fitness level to carry out required tasks.
n
Employment prospects are also available for your partner in either the farming, livestock or administration sectors of the business.
n
Accommodation and some meals (meat provided), Smoko and lunch are generally provided each working day.
n
Fully air conditioned accommodation with unlimited wi-fi.
n
Above Award wage attractive remuneration package is available for the successful applicant with unlimited beef and many other added extras.

Own horse(s) welcome for weaner tailing and personal use.
