Oak Tree Academy Sunnybank Hills is preparing to open its doors in January 2027, and we're searching for an outstanding Centre Manager to lead this exciting new chapter from the very beginning.

This is a rare opportunity to establish the culture, standards and reputation of a brand-new premium early learning service while creating an environment where children, families and educators can truly flourish.

Designed with harmony, wellbeing and high-quality education at its core, Oak Tree Academy Sunnybank Hills features purpose-built learning studios, beautiful natural environments, inspiring outdoor playscapes and enriching educational programs that support children from six weeks of age through to formal schooling.

As the founding Centre Manager, you will play a key role in bringing our vision to life. From building a passionate team and welcoming families into the service, to establishing exceptional standards and a thriving centre culture, this is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy from day one.

Importantly, while this role offers genuine autonomy and influence, you'll be supported by an experienced and engaged leadership team who are committed to helping you successfully open and grow the service.

The Opportunity

As the founding Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful launch and ongoing operation of Oak Tree Academy Sunnybank Hills.

Working closely with our leadership team, you will:

- Lead the pre-opening journey and support service readiness
- Recruit, onboard and develop a high-performing team of educators
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community
- Drive occupancy growth and establish the centre's reputation within the community
- Create a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
- Establish systems, routines and practices that support excellence




- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
- Lead continuous improvement and inspire a culture of quality

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a high-performing early childhood leader who is passionate about quality and committed to creating exceptional outcomes for children, families and educators.

You will ideally bring:

- Experience as a Centre Manager within a high-quality early learning service
- A proven track record of building and leading engaged, high-performing teams
- Strong leadership, operational and commercial capability
- The ability to build meaningful relationships with families, educators and the broader community
- A commitment to continuous improvement and quality outcomes
- A collaborative leadership style grounded in integrity, professionalism and positivity
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards

Previous experience opening a recent early learning service, or leading significant centre growth and transformation, will be highly regarded.
