Tasmea is a national group of specialist industrial services businesses supporting the mining, energy, utilities, defence, infrastructure and heavy industry sectors. As our business continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor ready to take the next step in their career.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role where you'll work across a diverse portfolio of businesses and industries, partnering with operational teams and leaders to drive safety performance, strengthen compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires regular travel throughout the Eastern states to support site-based operations and projects.

What you’ll be doing
Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, regulations and company policies
Leading HSEQ audits, inspections and assurance activities
Managing incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
Partnering with managers and operational teams to strengthen safety leadership and accountability
Maintaining HSE systems, compliance registers, reporting processes and documentation
Reviewing and updating policies,
procedures and risk registers to meet regulatory requirements
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, environmental and risk functions
Conducting site visits to provide practical support and promote a proactive safety culture
About you
5-10 years' experience in a dedicated HSE role within mining or heavy industry
Diploma in WHS or an equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations and risk assessments
Understanding of HSE management systems, ISO standards, injury management and Return To Work programs
Strong written, verbal communication skills and attention to detail
The ability to engage, coach and influence leaders and frontline personnel
The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
