What You’ll Be Doing

As Electrical Leading Hand, you’ll play a key role in keeping projects and crews running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, coordinating and supervising site-based electrical crews.

- Planning labour, materials, plant and equipment to keep projects on track.

- Coordinating day-to-day site activities and project schedules.

- Leading by example and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

- Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring team members understand their responsibilities.

- Coaching and supporting team members to perform at their best.

- Identifying and resolving site and operational challenges.

- Building positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Monitoring productivity, labour and project costs against expectations.

- Ensuring company vehicles, tools and equipment are managed appropriately.

- Contributing ideas that improve safety, productivity and the way we work.

About You

You’ll be a confident and capable electrical professional who enjoys taking ownership,



solving problems and getting the best from your team.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Electrical Trade Qualification.

- High Voltage (HV) experience.

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

- Experience delivering site-based project works.

- Previous experience leading or supervising electrical crews.

- Strong safety awareness and the ability to identify and manage workplace risks.

- Good planning, organisation and time management skills.

- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with customers.

- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.

- A commitment to quality workmanship and getting the job done right.

- Flexibility to travel regularly to regional and remote project locations.
