About the role
The Clinical Measurements Scientist Senior Cardiac delivers advanced cardiac clinical measurement services across The Prince Charles, Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals as part of the Cardiac Sciences Unit. Working within a multidisciplinary team, this role manages complex caseloads and provides expert cardiac diagnostic services while practising with a high degree of independence and clinical judgement.
The successful candidate will perform advanced cardiac sciences procedures, contribute to service improvement initiatives, support education and mentoring programs, participate in clinical research activities, and provide professional advice on cardiac service delivery. This role also supports quality outcomes across the Cardiac Sciences Unit and contributes to the ongoing development of evidence-based cardiac care.

- Deliver advanced cardiac clinical measurement services for complex patient caseloads across multiple Metro North hospital sites.
- Apply expert clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to support high-quality cardiac diagnostic services.
- Coordinate and deliver clinical education, supervision and mentoring for students and developing cardiac scientists.
- Contribute to cardiac research, quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing advancement of Cardiac Sciences services.
- Provide specialist clinical advice and support service development, professional standards and quality outcomes within the Cardiac Sciences Unit.
