The Opportunity
This exciting opportunity will see you join our Offshore team on a casual FIFO basis from Perth , supporting inspection and integrity programs across offshore assets. This role offers a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off roster , with an initial 3-6 month project duration and an immediate start available . Working in a dynamic offshore environment, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality NDT services while maintaining Bureau Veritas' commitment to safety, reliability, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality inspection services using Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic,
Radiographic and other Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques
- Operate across major industrial environments, including mining, oil & gas, and large‑scale project sites
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive and professional service experience
- Work independently with confidence, demonstrating robust problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Maintain a strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Use strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills to ensure accurate, dependable results
About You
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
- AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 MT Level 2 and PT Level 2 certifications (essential)
- Current Offshore Medical
- Current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
- Demonstrated offshore inspection experience within oil & gas, energy or marine environments
- Hardness Testing experience highly regarded
- Minimum 3 years' experience conducting Non-Destructive Testing in industrial environments
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently in remote offshore locations
