We are supporting a global critical infrastructure and power technology business in the search for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead a team of Technicians responsible for the maintenance and service of critical power systems within the Data Centre space.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical support, field service coordination, customer management and team supervision. You will manage day-to-day service delivery across your region, ensuring engineers and subcontractors are effectively scheduled, customers receive a high level of service, and all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate and schedule a team of power Technicians and subcontractors across the region.
- Support engineers with complex technical issues and provide escalation assistance when required.
- Manage day-to-day service delivery, maintenance activities, installations and equipment start-ups.
- Provide customers with technical advice and quotations for minor works, time and materials,
installations and service requirements.
- Coordinate with technical support, sales, service administration, warehouse and inventory teams.
- Drive compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements, including timely incident and injury reporting.
About You
- Electrical or Electronics Trade Qualification.
- Proven experience within the power or critical infrastructure industry, ideally across UPS, electrical power systems, data centres or similar environments.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a field service team.
- Robust technical capability with the confidence to support engineers with complex field issues.
- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware, with experience supporting quotations and additional service opportunities.
