Role Description

The Key Account Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Boondall, QLD, responsible for managing and growing relationships with major customers in the electrical wholesale sector. Day‑to‑day tasks include maintaining regular contact with key accounts, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored product and service solutions. The role involves preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability, and monitoring account performance against sales targets.



The Key Account Manager will analyze market trends and customer data to support business planning, identify new opportunities, and contribute to pricing and contract discussions. This position also includes resolving issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and representing CNW’s values of service, reliability, and community support.

Qualifications

- Robust account management experience, including handling key accounts and building long‑term customer relationships.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and support effective business planning.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to provide informed advice and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Experience in the electrical wholesale, trade supply, or related industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on‑site in Boondall, QLD, maintain a proactive approach, and manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and ERP/CRM systems used for sales and account management.
- Relevant qualifications in business, sales, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
