About the chance
Based at Yatala, this is a hands-on Branch Manager role for a leader who wants ownership. You will lead the day-to-day operation, set expectations and create a culture where safety, accountability and customer service are part of how the branch operates every day.
You will take full ownership of the P&L;, balancing revenue growth and margin with disciplined cost and stock control. Just as importantly, you will lead from the front by coaching your team, building capability and ensuring everyone understands what success looks like.
You will stay connected with 4 field based employees through regular site visits and welfare checks, while building relationships with key customers and identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow the branch.
Success will mean a safe and engaged team, clear performance standards,
improved profitability, controlled costs and a branch consistently delivering for its customers.
About you
You are a people leader who is equally comfortable reviewing financials, talking with customers or putting on hi-vis and safety boots to spend time alongside the warehouse team.
You understand B2B environments, know how to maximise revenue and margin, plan effectively and hold people accountable while continuing to coach and develop them. Safety is part of how you lead, not simply a compliance requirement.
A forklift licence is preferred, or you will be prepared to obtain one with training provided.
