Oceania Ground Force is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, revenue and debtor management, tax compliance, and account management across multiple entities.

Oceania Ground Force is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, revenue and debtor management, tax compliance, and account management across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Preparation and review of end‑of‑month/end of year results and reporting requirements in line with accounting guidelines.
- Analysing financial data and providing insights to support decision‑making.
General Ledger Maintenance
- Maintenance of the General Ledger.
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
Tax Management
- Completion and management of tax obligations (BAS/IAS).
- Ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Revenue and Debtor Management
- Preparation of accurate Contract Billings.
- Debtor Management.
- Pricing control.
Asset Management
- Maintenance of the Asset Register ensuring accurate records of assets at all times.
- Tracking and managing company assets movements.
- Identify and report on data trends.
Other Duties
- Assistance with Payroll and Accounts Payable roles.
- Performance of ad‑hoc administrative duties.
- Assistance to the CFO as required.

- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting and general accounting.
- Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Understanding of payroll principles.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with HumanForce.
Reporting Line
The Accountant reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Work Environment
This is an office‑based role at the southern end of the Gold Coast, working Monday to Friday, 7.6 hours per day, typically between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. The Accountant will work within a small team while also managing responsibilities autonomously, engaging with staff across our 13 locations and key stakeholders as required to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
