JC Civil Projects is a Sunshine Coast based civil estimating and pre-contract consultancy. We prepare estimates, cost reviews and tender support for head consultants, government and contractor clients across major civil infrastructure.

We're growing, and we're looking for a Project Manager / Bid Manager to lead our larger tenders and projects. This is a new role for someone who has run civil jobs on site and wants to put that experience to work at the front end of projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll lead tenders and projects where several of our team are involved, taking them from kick-off to submission. You don't need to be an estimator, but you'll understand how estimates come together and how program and methodology drive cost.

- Manage and coordinate multi-person tenders and estimating projects to tight deadlines
- Prepare and review construction programs, methodology and staging
- Review design documents, scope and BOQs
- Draft, review and proof estimate reports with our estimators
- Run bid management for contractor clients, including strategy, win themes and submission
- Support business development and build relationships with clients

ABOUT YOU

- A solid civil construction delivery background, ideally as an on-site PM
- Experience with a Tier 2 or smaller contractor, and comfortable wearing many hats
- A solid understanding of estimating and tendering
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deadlines
- Excellent written skills, including report writing and proofing
- Well organised and comfortable following processes, checklists and forms
- Confident and approachable with clients
- Still hands‑on and close to delivery
- RPEQ registration is highly regarded
