As our Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of bookkeeping functions across multiple entities including property and commercial development portfolios. This is an excellent prospect for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident working independently. An understanding of Trust structures and Trust accounting is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations and transaction processing
- Payroll and superannuation
- BAS preparation and reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Managing invoices, payments and creditor/debtor accounts
- Assisting with budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting
- Liaising with accountants, suppliers and other stakeholders
- Maintain Investor loan schedules and reports
About you
- Has strong experience in a senior bookkeeping role
- Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Is confident managing bookkeeping processes from start to finish
- Has strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, GST, BAS and payroll requirements
- Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities
- Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Is trustworthy, reliable and professional
- Has experience with Xero or accounting software
- Experience in property sector
