The Role
As Senior Carpenter, you’ll work directly with our Project Manager to deliver quality results on site. This is a hands‑on role that combines high‑level craftsmanship with site coordination and mentoring — ideal for an experienced carpenter ready to step into a leadership role while keeping the tools in hand.
Key Responsibilities
- Wall and floor framing, including set‑out, straightening and packing
- Installing door frames and pocket doors (cavity sliders)
- Hanging and fitting off doors, and completing final fit-offs to a high standard
- Supervising and coordinating carpentry and other trades on site
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- 5+ years’ experience in residential work, with high-end renovation experience a bonus
- Highly experienced and capable in wall and floor framing, door frame and pocket installation, and door fit-offs and final fit-offs
- Strong drawing interpretation skills and the ability to solve problems on the spot
- Proven ability to guide and coordinate small teams
- A well‑organised, quality tool set and a ute
- Current White Card and a current driver’s licence
- Full Australian work rights
- Confident using the apps and platforms a modern builder relies on
