EMRG Imaging is looking for an experienced Sonographer to join our clinic team in Keysborough, VIC 3173, on a part-time or full-time basis.
We also run a clinic in Box Hill and a mobile ultrasound service for aged care. Keysborough is the main base for this role. If you’re open to working at another site or doing some mobile work, tell us in your application. It doesn’t have to be a regular arrangement, and it could mean more hours or more variety.
Key responsibilities
Performing a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular and musculoskeletal scans
Producing high-quality images and accurate worksheets to support radiologist reporting
Making sure patients are well informed and comfortable, and have a positive experience
Keeping accurate patient records in line with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Working closely with our radiologists, referrers and the wider clinical team
Following safety, infection control and quality assurance protocols
About you
ASAR/ASA registered, with a recognised qualification in Medical Sonography
Confident across general ultrasound, including abdominal, O&G; and MSK
Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team
A strong communicator with patients, referrers and colleagues
Detail-oriented and committed to ongoing professional development
Open to other EMRG locations or mobile work (a bonus, not a requirement)
