Veritus Research is seeking motivated and experienced Clinical Research Nurses to join our dynamic team in Bayswater, Victoria.
We are expanding our casual team and are looking for nurses who are passionate about clinical research and committed to delivering high-quality care to research participants. What You'll Be Doing
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play an significant role in the successful delivery of clinical research studies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the coordination and implementation of clinical research studies in accordance with study protocols
- Conducting clinical assessments, procedures, and observations as required
- Collecting, documenting, and maintaining accurate participant data
- Monitoring participant safety, wellbeing, and response to study interventions
- Identifying, documenting, and escalating adverse events and safety concerns as appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ethical requirements, and applicable regulations
- Collaborating closely with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, and the broader research team
- Maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date study documentation and records
- Providing education, information, and support to research participants throughout their study involvement
- Contributing to the efficient and high-quality conduct of clinical trials
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse who has:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or a relevant healthcare setting
- Availability and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including night shifts and weekends
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and effective organisational skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
- A sound understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles
- Confidence using electronic medical record systems and electronic data capture/data management systems
- A professional, participant-focused approach and a genuine interest in clinical research
Previous clinical research experience is highly regarded; however, we also welcome applications from nurses with strong clinical experience who are looking to develop their career in clinical research.
