About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator / Transport Allocator to join our dynamic team within our Townsville Depot. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our transport network, maintaining exceptional service standards, and supporting the continuous improvement of our logistics processes. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the depot, drivers, and customers, ensuring timely deliveries and collections.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will coordinate daily fuel transport operations and work closely with drivers, depot teams and customers to ensure safe, efficient and timely deliveries.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Scheduling and allocating tankers, drivers and resources.
- Monitoring deliveries and responding to delays or operational issues.
- Communicating with drivers and customers about delivery requirements and updates.
- Maintaining accurate transport records and operational reports.
- Supporting safety, compliance, customer KPIs and operational improvements.

Roster & Renumeration

- 7 On / 7 Off Roster (Wednesday to Tuesday)
- Annual Salary of $99,512.50 + allowances
- Any additional hours worked during your seven rostered days off will be paid at the hourly rates listed below:
- $44.12 per hour - Monday to Friday
- Competitive remuneration package including superannuation, with weekly pay cycles.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy environment.
- Previous transport allocation or fuel logistics experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle, dangerous goods and transport compliance requirements is advantageous.
