Sage Active Clinic – Brighton, Melbourne VIC

Approx. 30 hours per week, building relatively quickly towards full-time
Join our growing Exercise Physiology clinic
Sage Active Clinic is looking for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our busy, award-winning allied health clinic in Brighton.
We have an established and growing client base, strong relationships with GPs across a wide area of Melbourne and a steady flow of new referrals. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the clinic as we continue to grow.
Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely cares about their clients. Clinical knowledge matters, but so does the person behind it. We want an EP who gets to know their clients, listens to them, notices their progress and takes pride in helping them achieve the best outcome possible.
The position will initially be approximately 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to build relatively quickly towards full time employment as your caseload grows. Private-practice experience would be an advantage, but we also welcome enthusiastic recent graduates who are ready to learn and build their career.
Why join Sage Active Clinic?
- A busy, award-winning clinic with an established and growing client base
- A growing caseload, with a steady flow of new clients and referrals as you build towards full-time hours
- Strong referral relationships with GPs and other health professionals across a wide area of Melbourne
- A friendly, supportive team where people work together and help each other
- Guidance and support from experienced Exercise Physiologists
- A broad and wide-ranging caseload across different ages, abilities and health conditions
- Work that can make a very real difference to clients' strength, mobility, confidence, independence and quality of life
The role
You'll work with clients through a broad range of referral and funding pathways, including GP Care Plans, My Aged Care, NDIS, DVA, TAC, WorkCover, private health and private clients.
- Conduct assessments and develop individually prescribed exercise programs
- Work with clients one-to-one and in small supervised groups
- Monitor progress and adapt programs as clients' needs change
- Provide clinic-based appointments, home visits and telehealth consultations
- Follow up with clients by phone when appropriate and provide a high standard of customer service
- Build solid, lasting relationships with clients and take an active interest in their progress
- Communicate with GPs, specialists, case managers, families and other health professionals
- Complete clinical notes, reports, correspondence and the administration that is part of good clinical practice
- Contribute to the continued success and growth of the clinic and its professional relationships
We use Cliniko for practice management, so previous Cliniko experience would be helpful. Experience with Physitrack would also be an advantage, although neither is essential for the right person.
