Dow Earthmoving is looking for an experienced Excavator and Bobcat Operator to join our team. This is an excellent prospect to secure long term, full-time employment with a respected and established local earthmoving company.
About the role
You will operate excavators ranging from 5t to 14t, along with skid steers and trucks, across a variety of local projects. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated operator who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Detailed excavation
- Construction of concrete and sandstone block retaining walls
- Site cuts
- General trenching and earthworks
- Transporting machines and material between sites
Skills, Experience & Licences
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators and bobcats across a range of site conditions
- Drivers licence
- HC or HR truck licence
- White card
- Ability to read site plans
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
