Key Responsibilities

- Deliversafe,evidence-basednursingcaretoresidents
- Conductcomprehensiveclinicalassessmentsandmonitorresidenthealth
- Administermedicationsandtreatmentsinaccordancewithclinicalguidelines
- Develop,reviewandupdateindividualisedcareplans
- Provideclinicalleadershipandsupervisiontonursingandcarestaff
- SupportandmentorGraduateNurses,EnrolledNursesandPersonalCareWorkers
- Workcollaborativelywithfamilies,GPs,alliedhealthprofessionalsandexternalproviders
- Ensureaccurateclinicaldocumentationandreporting
- Promoteinfectionpreventionandmaintaincompliancewithagedcarestandards
- Respondpromptlytochangesinresidents'healthconditions
- Contributetocontinuousqualityimprovementinitiatives
- Participateinongoingeducationandmandatorytrainingprograms

Requirements & Eligibility

- BachelorofNursingqualification
- CurrentunrestrictedAHPRARegisteredNurseregistration
- CurrentFirstAidandCPRcertification




- Previousexperiencewithinresidentialagedcareishighlyregarded
- Strongclinicalassessmentanddecision-makingskills
- Knowledgeofagedcarelegislation,infectioncontrolandprofessionalstandards
- Excellentleadership,communicationandinterpersonalskills
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithinamultidisciplinaryteam
- CurrentNationalPoliceCheckorwillingnesstoobtainone
- CurrentCOVID-19andinfluenzavaccinationsinlinewithemployerrequirements
- Commitmenttoprovidingcompassionate,resident-focusedcare
