Position Available: Chef

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + super
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

- Relevant qualifications and/or at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-quality establishment
- Sound knowledge of food, beverages, and wine




- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently under pressure
- Full Australian working rights
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

Skill & Experience

- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standards
- Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control during service
- Assist with mise en place and daily kitchen preparation
- Work across various kitchen sections including grill, larder, pasta, sauce, or pastry
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and minimising wastage
- Monitor food quality and report any issues to senior chefs
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during service
