We have exciting opportunities available for an experienced Perioperative/Recovery Registered Nurse to join our Sydney team.
As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Doctors to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.
About the role
As a Perioperative/Recovery Registered Nurse at Levant Cosmetic Surgery, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Doctors to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs for each individual patient under your care.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake day surgery RN duties including admissions, anaesthetic, recovery, post operative care, scrub and scout
- Provide patients with exceptional and compassionate care and support, delivering clear and concise information when required
- Respond to queries from patients and family members, appropriately escalating when needed
- Continually review work methods and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and decision-making
- Assisting on surgical bookings/enquiries
About you
- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA and minimum 2 years recovery and perioperative nursing experience
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
- Competency with airway management skills is essential
- ALS current competency is desirable
- Commitment to delivering best practice patient care
- Passion for patient care
- Valuable organization skills and able to handle multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be fully vaccinated as per the NSW Government mandate for workers in a healthcare setting
Salary will be based on experience.
