We're looking for a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Darwin. This role is all about empowering children and families to thrive in their everyday lives- whether that's in the home, at school, or out in the community.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Deliver early intervention therapy services using a strengths-based approach
- Early Intervention, Paediatric Therapy, Community Engagement
- Conduct developmental assessments and create therapy programs tailored to each child's sensory, cognitive, and physical needs
- Collaborate with clients, families, and key stakeholders to set meaningful, functional goals
- Work both autonomously and within a transdisciplinary team framework
- Provide school visits and community-based support
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy & current AHPRA registration
- Police Check,
Working with Children/Vulnerable People clearance
- Driver's license and access to your own vehicle
- First Aid certificate
- Passion for working with children and delivering family-centred care
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
