One of Australia's leading Allied Health Company's, withseveral locations across NSW and offering superior service and treatmentoptions are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their organisation
You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that providesevidence-based rehabilitation for a range of caseloads including neurologicaland orthopaedic inpatient and day only rehabilitation clients.
About the Role
This role will be best suited to someone with a passion anddesire to work within the disability space under the NDIS, as well as workingwithin a company that is making a real difference in people’s lives.
This role is Full Time preferred however we can provideflexibility for days / hours if needed.
Skills andexperience
- Delivering evidence - based practices toundertake assessment, diagnosis and management of paediatric clients and clientswith disability, using a range of tools and equipment, including hydrotherapy.
- Work as part of a team of health professionals,to provide a multidisciplinary care plan, to improve a person’s health
- Maintain relevant documentation associated withpatient care – example - patient records, reports, statistics.
- Effective time management skills and the abilityto meet deadlines as required
- Ability to build rapport with clients, inaddition to their parents/ families, carers and other external serviceproviders.
Role Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy, fullAHPRA registration, Working with Children's Check, Workcover accredited
- Familiar with NDIS processes and disabilityclientele
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to interact and communicate with adiverse range of people at all levels
- Current National Police Check
