Formulary Governance Secretariat Officer, Improvement

About the role

The Formulary Governance Secretariat Officer provides secretariat, governance and administrative support to the Victorian Medicines Formulary (VMF) program and associated governance committees.

The role coordinates committee and working group activities, prepares governance documentation, maintains records of decisions and actions, supports stakeholder engagement and contributes to the effective operation of governance arrangements across the VMF program.

Working closely with project teams, clinical advisors, committee members and external stakeholders, the role supports the effective administration of governance processes and forums that assist informed decision-making across the VMF program.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience supporting governance committees, boards or advisory groups.
- Strong organisational and administrative capability.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience preparing committee papers, agendas and minutes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications / Specialist Expertise

- A qualification in public administration, business administration, project management, health administration or a related discipline would be well regarded.
- Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience providing secretariat or governance support to committees, boards, advisory groups or working groups.
- Experience preparing agendas, papers, minutes, action registers and governance documentation.




- Experience coordinating stakeholders across multiple organisations.
- Solid administrative and organisational skills.
- Experience within government, healthcare or the Victorian public sector would be advantageous.
- Understanding of the Victorian public health system would be advantageous.
