Full-Time Out of School Hours Care Educator – Sustainable OSHC Seaforth Centre, Seaforth NSW Sustainable OSHC Seaforth Centre is a well-established Out of School Hours Care service located in Seaforth, NSW.

The centre provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing setting for school-aged children through before-school care, after-school care, and vacation care programs. We are committed to supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development through meaningful play-based experiences and high-quality care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Out of School Hours Care Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of educational and recreational programs, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff. Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on experience) Location: Seaforth, NSW 2092 Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality care and supervision for school-aged children in before-school, after-school, and vacation care programs.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging educational and recreational activities.
- Support children's learning, wellbeing, development, and participation through play-based experiences.
- Observe and document children's learning and contribute to educational programming.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
- Participate in reflective practice, program reviews,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework requirements, child protection obligations, and service policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader and other educators to achieve quality educational outcomes.
- Attend team meetings, training, and professional development activities as required.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Children's Services, Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, or a related field,
- At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children in an education, childcare, OSHC, recreation, or community setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Sound understanding of child development and child-safe practices.
- Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and child-focused environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children.
- Current

Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.

- Current

First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications or ability to obtain them.
