Empower Health NQ is a multidisciplinary allied health team comprising of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, and a dedicated administration team that supports our daily operations.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: To empower a healthier you. In this role, you will contribute to that mission by delivering evidence-based practice and working collaboratively across disciplines to support our clients in achieving their individual goals.

Our clinic features a spacious, purpose-built environment supporting a collaborative allied health team, with dedicated therapy spaces to suit individual sessions. You will work alongside one other Occupational Therapist, with the chance to collaborate closely and share ideas, while also being supported by our wider multidisciplinary team.

You can expect a caseload consisting predominantly of NDIS and My Aged Care clients. Within the role,



you will also have the opportunity to complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), Low to Mid Cost Assistive Technology assessments, and prescribe appropriate assistive technology.

There is also considerable flexibility to shape the role around your individual clinical interests, strengths and career goals. While the core caseload is NDIS and My Aged Care, the role can be adapted to provide opportunities in areas that you are particularly passionate about.

Previously, this caseload has included paediatric and early childhood intervention, capacity-building programs, life skills development and other functional assessments and interventions.

We are keen to support you in developing the type of caseload and clinical skill set that aligns with your professional interests, while still providing exposure to a broad and varied range of clients.

This position will include home visits and other out of clinic services as required.

This position is fulltime and an immediate start.
