- Carry out painting and protective coating works on façades, balconies and other elevated structures while working on rope
- Prepare surfaces for painting (pressure washing, sanding, scraping, patching, priming)
- Apply paints, coatings and sealants by brush, roller and spray
- Access work areas using approved rope access techniques and equipment
- Rig, inspect and dismantle rope access systems in line with safety procedures
- Carry out pre-use inspections and maintain rope access equipment and PPE
- Follow SWMS, site rules and WHS requirements at all times
- Deliver painting work to the required quality standard, on time and to specification
- Travel to project sites in the ACT and Queensland when required
- Communicate with supervisors, clients and other trades on site
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related role
- Current rope access qualification (IRATA or SPRAT) or equivalent
- Experience painting at heights on façades or high-rise buildings
- Current NSW
General Construction Induction (White Card), or ability to obtain the equivalent for other states
- Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and safe rope access practices
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to the ACT and Queensland as required
- Good physical fitness and comfort working at heights
- Valuable English communication skills
- Reliable, attentive to detail and a strong team player
- Certificate III in Painting or apprenticeship is desirable
