Neurological Physiotherapy Role in Specialised Clinic

About the role: Full Time Role, but Part Time will be considered

MyTurn Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our industry-leading Neurological and Vestibular Rehabilitation service. This is a positionthat offers a unique opportunity to specialise in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation, working with patients who require best practice assessment, treatment and management of complex neuro and vestibular rehabilitation conditions. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care whilst contributing to the clinical excellence and reputation of our clinic. This role is based on-site in our Eight-Mile Plains clinic, allowing you to build strong relationships with patients and the wider team in our rehabilitation facility.

You’ll be supported to be:

Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with neurological and vestibular disorders, including balance disorders, dizziness, post-stroke rehabilitation, PD, MS, Spinal Cord injuries, Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injuries and FND.

Performing and interpreting specialised spasticity, vestibular and concussion assessments, and work alongside medical team management for these presentations

Designing and implementing individualised treatment plans based on best-practice evidence and patient-specific needs. Use Rehabilitation Technologies including the Lite Gait system, Bioness, Vesticam, FES systems, Neofect Smartboard, Total Gym, Virtual Reality systems, VALD, Biowave and more.

Working in our busy specialist clinic and in the community (patient homes, pools, gym) -approx 50/50%.

Monitoring patient progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness and modifying rehabilitation programs as required

Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members,



including occupational therapists, speech pathologists and medical professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements

Educating patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, home exercise programs and self-management techniques

Contributing to the development and maintenance of clinical protocols and best-practice standards within the clinic

Participating in ongoing career development and staying current with advancements in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation.

What we’re looking for

Current registration with AHPRA

Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Physiotherapy

Minimum of 1 years experience

Experience working in neurological and/or vestibular rehabilitation settings highly regarded.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Solid clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

A patient-centred approach to care with genuine empathy and commitment to improving patient outcomes

Professional and reliable approach to work with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Thrive in the combination of working in a busy clinic setting and community

NDIS Worker's Screening Check

Current Driver's License

Criminal History Check

First Aid Certificate and CPR

Commence in October or November
