Modus Projects is growing , and we're looking for an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our national Facilities Maintenance team.

You'll work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail sites, maintaining and repairing essential HVAC and refrigeration systems — from chillers and AHUs to CRAC units, FCUs and refrigeration systems.

Your Day-to-Day

No two days are exactly the same. You'll be responsible for keeping critical equipment operating safely, efficiently and reliably.

You'll:

- Complete preventative, reactive and planned maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Service and maintain chillers, AHUs, CRAC units, FCUs and refrigeration systems
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Assemble, install,



test and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Inspect refrigeration and chilled water systems
- Identify opportunities to complete works more efficiently and cost-effectively
- Complete building inspections and provide clear reports

- Complete work orders, risk assessments and required documentation
- Participate in an after-hours/on-call roster

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a qualified HVAC & Refrigeration Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving technical challenges.

You'll bring:

- Relevant HVAC & Refrigeration trade qualification
- 3–5 years' commercial HVAC & Refrigeration experience
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience working across commercial and/or retail facilities
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Construction Induction Card (White Card )
- Blue Card or the ability to get one
- First Aid Certificate
- EWP Under 11m

Experience with larger systems and critical environments — particularly chillers — will be highly regarded.
