About J&D; Contracting

J&D; Contracting is a highly respected construction company based in Brisbane, delivering a comprehensive range of building, renovation and refurbishment services across government, commercial, private sector and NDIS projects.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking a qualified Project Carpenter to join our team and work across multiple renovation and refurbishment projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Carpenter who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship and is looking to join a stable company with long-term opportunities.

About the Role

Working across a variety of Government, Commercial, Private Sector and NDIS projects , you will play an key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality construction and refurbishment works.

Depending on your experience, you may also have the opportunity to lead and coordinate on-site teams and assist with the day-to-day management of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality carpentry and building works across government,



commercial private sector and NDIS projects.

- Assist with coordinating day-to-day site activities.

- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.

- Work closely with the Site-Supervisor to coordinate subcontractors and site personnel.

- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.

- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations and WHS requirements.

- Represent J&D; Contracting professionally when working with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

What You'll Need

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Carpenter

- Certificate III in Carpentry

- Current White Card

- Strong carpentry and construction skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Good communication and organisational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A strong commitment to quality, safety and customer service.

- Previous experience in renovation, refurbishment, commercial or government projects will be highly regarded.

- A current driver's licence.
