Diptech Performance is actively seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our agile team. This full-time position is located in Epping, VIC 3076, and presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a variety of marine projects. The successful candidate will receive specialized training from both Yamaha and Stacer.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair a variety of marine engines and related systems
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on marine vessels
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble marine engines and components
- Test and calibrate marine electronics and electrical systems
- Advise customers on maintenance requirements and recommended repairs
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Pre Delivery of waverunners and boats
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in marine mechanics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a marine mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
- Expertise in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of marine engines and systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
