Kidman Apparel Group is looking for an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team and play a key role in planning our product ranges, managing inventory and driving commercial performance. Working closely with Product Development, Buying, Design, E-commerce, Logistics, Finance and Sales, you will help ensure we have the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing and managing merchandise plans, forecasts and product projections.
- Managing open-to-buy budgets and weekly sales, stock and intake planning.
- Planning product assortments and inventory across our sales channels.
- Analysing sales, stock levels and market trends to identify opportunities and manage risks.
- Reviewing sales performance and adjusting forecasts throughout the season.
- Managing inventory flow, replenishment and stock movements.
- Preparing weekly, monthly and seasonal reports and providing commercial insights.
- Working with internal teams to support product, range and purchasing decisions.

You will bring:





- Previous experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, retail planning or a similar role, preferably within apparel.
- Experience with Apparel 21 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- The ability to develop merchandise plans, open-to-buy budgets and demand forecasts using Excel.
- Solid analytical skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to turn data into practical business decisions.
- Sound technical garment knowledge and an understanding of apparel product and range planning.
- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.
- Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- A practical, hands-on approach with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, marketing or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
