THE ROLE

We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about not only taking on a new challenge that will engage them intellectually but who understands that offering value and care to our clients is at the heart of what we do.

As an experienced Speech Pathologist you will provide a comprehensive range of disability services for individuals with complex needs in the community and within group homes.



Within this role you will have an chance to work within an expanding multidisciplinary team that embraces therapy and interventions that are goal based and use latest evidence. Through your compassionate nature and enjoyment of helping others you will assist clients achieve significant outcomes.

The skills you may bring to the role include:

- A high level of professional judgement and knowledge to provide a wide range of speech and language supports to adolescent and adults with a variety of needs

- Assess the communication and mealtime management abilities of the client utilising a range of assessment techniques and tools

- Design intervention plans that are holistic, client-centric and outcomes driven

- Provide support and assist clients, carers and families with the implementation of intervention plans and programs

- You will be competent in developing care plans and writing comprehensive reports based on your advanced clinical understanding, application of various clinical assessments and implementation of appropriate interventions to address prioritised needs.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Approved Speech Pathology qualification and eligible for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia

- Genuine compassion, empathy and interest working within the aged care and disability sectors

- Commitment to client outcomes and evidence based practice

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment

- Proven high-level interpersonal, computer, written, and verbal communication skills

- Superior time management and prioritisation skills

- Willingness to undergo vaccinations as needed
