A small stainless steel fabrication business in Blacktown is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Draftsperson to join their facility.
Position Overview:
Our client is a dedicated stainless steel fabrication business specializing in commercial kitchen fit-outs and custom sheet metal products. They are looking for a self-motivated individual with specific industry experience to join their team.
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
- CAD drawing of commercial kitchen benches, range hoods, and other custom sheet metal items
- Creating flat layout drawings and nesting for laser cutting machines
- Undertaking minor administrative and estimating tasks (training provided for this aspect)
- Working efficiently and unsupervised once fully trained
Your experience,
skill set and qualifications will include:
- Proven experience in the Sheet Metal industry is ESSENTIAL (Please do not apply from other industries)
- Experience with CAD drawing for sheet metal fabrication
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail
