- Location: Melbourne VIC (Flexible/hybrid working available)
- Salary:
- APS5: $82,336 - $90,234 + Super
- APS6: $91,140 - $102,152 + Super
- Contract: 12 Months (Initial engagement with potential extension up to 18 months total)
- Start Date: 2 November 2026
- Clearance: Active Baseline Security Clearance required
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct complex regulatory and compliance investigations under federal legislation.
- Gather evidence, record interviews, and draft comprehensive briefs of evidence.
- Prepare clear, concise investigation reports and executive briefings.
- APS6 Level: Take the lead on complex matters, mentor junior staff, and provide high-level strategic support.
What We Need From You
- Experience: Proven track record in compliance, regulation, or administrative law investigations.
- Skills: Robust statutory interpretation skills and top-tier report writing.
- Citizenship & Security: Australian Citizen with a Baseline Security Clearance and National Police Check.
- Impartiality: Ability to sign a mandatory declaration maintaining strict political neutrality and public impartiality during your tenure.
