About the job Trade Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
This role is focused on transport refrigeration, working on truck air-conditioning systems and refrigeration units on transport vehicles and trailers , no domestic or commercial building work.
You'll work both in the field and from our local workshop, keeping fleets operating efficiently through high-quality diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair truck air-conditioning systems
- Service and maintain transport refrigeration units
- Preventative maintenance on refrigerated trucks and trailers
- Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and refrigerant handling regulations
- Complete job cards and service reports accurately
- Deliver skilled, reliable service to customers
- Thermo King and Carrier experience is preferred
