Dubbo Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit on a five-week contract basis, commencing 12 October 2026. This is an excellent chance to contribute to a busy, high-acuity clinical environment where your expertise will directly support critically ill patients and their families. The role offers focused, meaningful work in a structured ICU setting with a defined end date of 18 November 2026.
- Five-week contract placement in a Level 4 ICU environment
- Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in critical care
- Based in Dubbo, with a clear start and end date for planning and flexibility
Preferred Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in an intensive care unit setting
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills in high-acuity care
- Ability to manage complex patient needs and respond to rapid changes in condition
- Excellent communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary ICU team
- Current knowledge of ICU protocols, equipment, and clinical best practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Post-graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent experience in ICU
