Are you an experienced Landscaper or Leading Hand ready to take the next step into a Site Supervisor role — without giving up the hands‑on work you enjoy?
Our Client is a well-established landscaping and construction business based in Yatala and are looking for a capable and motivated Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to join their team and help deliver high-quality commercial landscaping, hardscaping and nature‑play projects across South East Queensland.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll lead a small crew, coordinate daily site activities and take ownership of projects from start to finish — while still being involved on the tools.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who knows landscaping and construction from the ground up and is ready to take on more responsibility.
You will ideally have:
- Solid experience in commercial landscaping and/or construction
- Strong hardscaping and softscaping experience
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, 2IC, Supervisor or similar
- Good knowledge of paving,
concreting, retaining walls and general site works
- Bobcat and excavator experience or competency
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach
- The ability to work independently and take ownership
- A positive, can‑do attitude
- A strong commitment to quality and safe work practices
- The physical fitness to work outdoors and remain hands‑on
Experience in playground or nature‑play construction will be highly regarded.
Qualifications & Tickets
- Cert III in Landscaping
- Blue Card – Essential
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) – Essential
- Bobcat / Excavator experience or competency – Essential
