We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Food and Nutrition / Food and Design Technologies Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team for a 12-month contract commencing in January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about practical learning and enjoys inspiring young people to develop skills, confidence and curiosity through food, design and technology.
You will teach Food and Nutrition / Food and Design Technologies, together with a second teaching area aligned with your experience and qualifications.

About You
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Food and Nutrition / Food and Design Technologies and your additional teaching area.
- Create practical, hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration and problem-solving.
- Develop students' knowledge, confidence and practical skills through contemporary teaching approaches.
- Plan and deliver high-quality learning programs aligned with curriculum requirements.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with students and colleagues.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the College, including co-curricular and community activities.
- Support an inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to participate, have a go and achieve their potential.
- Show a commitment to girls' education, student wellbeing, and holistic growth.

Job Requirements
All applicants must hold current Queensland Teacher Registration and must be able to provide current employee references. Experience teaching an additional subject area relevant to the College's curriculum is highly regarded.
