About the Role

As AH Fencing continues to expand its NSW operations, we’re looking for a capable and driven Draftsperson to join the team.

We need someone who is sharp, accurate and takes ownership. Someone who can work in a fast-moving construction workplace, manage competing priorities and produce drawings the project and site teams can rely on.

You’ll work closely with our Project Managers and construction teams to produce and coordinate drawings for a range of commercial and industrial fencing projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Preparing detailed drawings for commercial and industrial fencing projects
- Producing fabrication and construction drawings
- Preparing layouts, details and revisions
- Interpreting architectural,



structural and project documentation
- Updating drawings to reflect design and site changes
- Working closely with Project Managers and site teams
- Coordinating drawing requirements and project information
- Ensuring drawings are accurate, practical and issued on time
- Maintaining organised drawing and document records

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just wait to be told what to do.

You’ll need:

- Recent and relevant drafting experience
- Experience with relevant CAD/drafting software
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good technical and problem-solving ability
- Strong organisation and time management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence communicating with project and construction teams
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership

Experience within construction, structural steel, metalwork, fencing or a related industry will be highly regarded.
