Afternoon Shift Supervisor - Sheet Metal Manufacturing

We urgently require an experienced Hands on Shift Supervisor to lead a crew of five and manage production flow across the afternoon shift.
The focus is on managing people, coordinating workloads and keeping production moving . You must be confident setting priorities, directing the crew and resolving issues to meet safety, quality and production targets.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a crew of five.
- Allocate work and communicate clear priorities.
- Manage production flow and machine utilisation.
- Monitor progress, address bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
- Maintain safety, quality and team accountability.
- Coordinate shift handovers and report on production progress.

Required experience

- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong people management and production coordination skills.
- Fully qualified and experienced sheet metal tradesperson.
- Experience operating and overseeing CNC laser cutters and bending machines.

Base salary: Base Perm Rate $46.00 per Hour ($90,896 per annum, plus additional overtime as required)
Ordinary hours: 38 hours per week.

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4.00 pm to 2.00 am, with Friday overtime when available.

Employment: Direct employment with our client. Immediate start required.
