As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Records Officer to join our Airworthiness and Maintenance team based at our Brisbane headquarters.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Airworthiness and Aircraft Maintenance Control, the Technical Records Officer is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy and traceability of aircraft technical records and maintenance documentation.
This role plays a key part in supporting fleet airworthiness by ensuring aircraft, engine and component records are complete, compliant and readily available to meet operational, regulatory and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update aircraft utilisation, cycles and maintenance records
- Process aircraft work orders, defects and maintenance rectifications
- Monitor and maintain aircraft configuration and component tracking records
- Control life-limited component records and supporting traceability documentation
- Support aircraft maintenance planning activities and maintenance forecasting
- Maintain Airworthiness Directive, Service Bulletin, modification and repair status records
- Review and maintain aircraft, engine and component logbooks
- Prepare weekly and monthly utilisation reporting
- Conduct routine audits of technical records and supporting documentation
- Assist with aircraft inductions, transfers, lease returns and due diligence reviews
- Maintain record retention and archive control processes
- Ensure compliance with CASA requirements and Auriga Aviation procedures
About You
You are highly organised, detail-focused and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. You enjoy working collaboratively while also managing your responsibilities independently.
- Solid data entry, record management and document control skills
- Knowledge of 30 and 42 Civil Aviation Regulations 1988
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and across multiple departments
- Previous experience in aviation technical records, maintenance administration, maintenance planning or airworthiness
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and continuing airworthiness requirements
- Understanding of aircraft configuration control and component traceability
- Experience working within a regulated aviation environment
