Patten Pavement Services is the leading provider in road profiling, haulage, and civil works across Victoria. We are currently seeking a highly organised and hands-on Operations Coordinator to join our Profiling and Haulage division.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, resources, and projects to ensure everything runs efficiently, on time, and within budget.

About the Role

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of coordinating multiple projects across profiling and haulage operations. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and allocate staff, plant, and materials across daily, weekly, and monthly operations
- Coordinate mobilisation of crews and equipment to and from job sites
- Manage end-to-end project coordination, ensuring timelines and client expectations are met
- Provide accurate documentation, reporting, and invoicing support
- Manage personnel and workforce scheduling to ensure productive staff utilisation
- Coordinate with the workshop to manage plant maintenance and equipment availability and ensure timely servicing of assets
- Act as a key point of contact between internal teams, subcontractors and clients
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance
- Support safety compliance and ensure all works are carried out to company standards




- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs

About You

You are someone who thrives in a busy operational environment and enjoys being across multiple moving parts.

You will bring:

- Experience in a similar coordination role within civil, construction, or transport industries
- Strong understanding of plant, equipment, and workforce scheduling
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders
- Solid organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve quickly and make practical decisions
- A strong focus on safety and compliance
