Little Gumnuts Early Learning Wyoming is a thriving 84 place early learning centre, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team.

Our purpose-built centre features thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor learning environments that support children to explore, learn and develop through their early years. As our centre continues to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the Nursery room and work alongside a supportive leadership team to create a nurturing, engaging and high quality environment for our youngest children.

About the Role

As the Nursery Room Leader, you will:

- Lead the day to day operation of the Nursery room and support a positive, nurturing environment for children

- Develop and implement high quality educational programs that foster children's learning, development, curiosity and wellbeing

- Mentor, guide and support educators within your room

- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families





- Support consistent practices aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework

- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and wider team

- Contribute to the ongoing development, culture and quality improvement of the service

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is passionate about early childhood education and supporting children's development during the important first years of life

- Has strong experience working with babies and toddlers

- Is a confident and supportive leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others

- Can create a calm, nurturing and engaging learning environment

- Has a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework

- Values genuine partnerships with families

- Is reliable, organised and committed to high-quality practice

Essential Criteria

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification

- Previous experience in a Room Leader or similar leadership role

- Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0-2 years

- Robust knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework

- Current NSW Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain/update as required

- Valid working rights in Australia
