Speech Pathologist - Mobile Transdisciplinary Allied Health Service
We are a mobile transdisciplinary Allied Health Service that provides high-quality Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Psychology services to children, adolescents and adults, both with and without a diagnosis, through government and private funding. About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with individuals, their families and their key stakeholders to develop individualised plans and services to clients of all ages and abilities
- Develop holistic therapy plans within a multidisciplinary team and provide direct community, school-based and home-based intervention and support programs.
- Work 1:1 and in group contexts with children, teenagers and adults
- Work with individuals across the lifespan both with and without a diagnosis
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology)
- Desire to work in a client and family-centred practice
- A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential and to achieve valued and meaningful goals through fun, functional and individualised therapy
- High level organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work in an energetic and flexible environment
- Proven ability to work in and contribute to a team
- A continuous quality improvement mindset
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia or eligible to attain
